Aspects
Aspects are angular relationships between planets. They show how different parts of the chart support, intensify, or challenge each other.
How to read them in a chart
First identify the planets involved. That matters more than the aspect name: a Moon-Mars square describes a different kind of tension than a Venus-Saturn square. Then look at the houses of both planets, because the houses show where the connection becomes lived.
The aspect type describes the quality of the connection. A conjunction blends functions, a trine lets energy flow more easily, a square demands action through friction, an opposition works through polarity, and a sextile offers a possibility that still needs conscious use.
Common mistake
The most common mistake is to divide aspects into good and bad. A hard aspect can become strength when worked consciously. A harmonious aspect can stay passive if it is never developed.
For practice, ask: which parts of me are trying to cooperate, collide, or learn a new rhythm together?
